The website of the National Bank of Belarus has been blocked for refusing to join the national strike.

Problems with access to the page of the Belarusian Central Bank began at about 13.00 Moscow time. The site stopped loading, and browsers reported the inability to find the IP address of its server.
“The National Bank did not really want to join the people's strike. We convinced them ... ”, - the message says.

Since the beginning of mass protests in the country in August this year, the banking system of Belarus is seriously affected by the massive outflow of deposits of individuals, primarily foreign currency deposits, which in the first two months of the protests fell by a billion dollars. The page of the Belarusian Central Bank, after two hours of blocking, started working again at about 15:00 Moscow time.

Since the beginning of September, "cyber-partisans" have already attacked the website of the Presidential Property Management Department: on its main page a historic white-red-white flag appeared, which was the state flag in Belarus in 1991-1995 and which is now used by the opposition. Then the pages of the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry came under attack. At the end of September, the online broadcast of the leading Belarusian TV channels Belarus 1 and ONT was unexpectedly interrupted by footage of the demonstrators being detained. Cyber-guerrillas also claimed responsibility for this attack.
