Using her official position, the notary changed the owners of real estate, the dispute over the division of which took place in court. The notary has now been notified of the suspicion.

Cyberpolice officers in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, together with investigators from the Halychyna Police Department, under the procedural guidance of the Tysmenytsia local prosecutor's office, exposed a private notary for unauthorized alteration of information in the state register.

Cyberpolice have established that a local resident, born in 1963, who works as a private notary, is involved in such actions. The defendant, on the basis of self-certified contracts, using a personal key, changed the owners of real estate without the knowledge and consent of one of them. At that time, the dispute between the owners regarding the division of the said property was going on in court. The amount of damage is more than 300 thousand hryvnias.

Currently, a private notary has already been notified of the suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 358 (Forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps), Part 3 of Art. 362 (Unauthorized actions with information processed in computers), automated systems, computer networks or stored on media of such information, committed by a person who has the right to access it) and Part 3 of Art. 365-2 (Abuse of authority by persons providing public services) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The woman faces up to 8 years in prison.
