The 39-year-old winegrower developed malicious software, distributing which later gained access to his customers' computers. The man was exposed by employees of the specialized police department.

In the Vynohradiv region, employees of the Department for Combating Cybercrime in the Zakarpattia Region, together with local law enforcement officers, under the procedural guidance of the Uzhhorod Prosecutor's Office, exposed a man who illegally gained access to his clients' private data. A 39-year-old resident of the village of Oleshnyk has developed malicious software to hack the accounts of social network users. By purchasing the program through a man-made channel in a public messenger, and installing it on their gadget, customers were able to hack the network accounts of social network users, and the illegal businessman himself gained unimpeded access to his clients' gadgets.

One of the victims, suspecting that the purchased Internet product could be a hacker, turned to the police. He told police that after purchasing an application to hack accounts, he realized that another person had access to his computer.

Militiamen carried out check during which also left on the 39-year-old grape grower.

During the authorized searches of the suspect's place of residence by officers of the cyberpolice department in the Zakarpattia region, computer equipment, mobile phones, bank payment cards and flash drives were confiscated.

Currently, the issue of handing the defendant a notice of suspicion of two crimes related to the manufacture and distribution of malicious software and interference with computers, ie under Articles 361 and 361-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, is being agreed. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
